Itinerary, day by day
Day 1: Welcome to Egypt
Cairo
Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (arrival procedures) and then he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.
Day 2: Pyramid and Cairo Tours

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, and then met by your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus and Sphinx then to the Valley Temple facing the great statue.
Lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant in Cairo, then visit the Egyptian Museum. After relishing over the magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures, you will be driven to Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest bazaar, if there is time. Back to the hotel.
Day 3: Fly to Luxor - Nile Cruise Round Trip

Check out from hotel in the early morning then transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor where you will be met and assisted, then transferred by an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle to embark your Nile Cruise. Have your lunch on board while sailing.
Free time at leisure with afternoon tea on board the cruise ship. Dinner on board.

Day 4: Edfu Temple - Sail to Kom Ombo

Breakfast on board while sailing to Edfu at the morning, then have a visit to Horus Temple in Edfu, the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. Day 5: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Early sail to Aswan while enjoying your Breakfast on board. Then, you will be picked up to enjoy a day tour to the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae. Head back to your cruise where Lunch will be served on board. End the night with a delicious dinner on board with a belly dance show and Egyptian folkloric show.

Day 6: Aswan to Abu Simbel Optional Tour

Breakfast on board your Nile cruise with free time at leisure in Aswan, or enjoy an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temples. It takes about 3 hours driving from Aswan to Abu Simbel by a private air-conditioned vehicle. Arrive to Abu Simbel, see the impressive Temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, which is dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II.
Then return to your Nile Cruise in Aswan. Free time at leisure, then have your dinner on board and enjoy a Nubian Show.

Day 7: Sail to Kom Ombo Temple - Sail to Esna

All rates listed by EgyVacations are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. However, we accept payment in other major currencies such as EUR and GBP, based on the daily exchange rate at the time of payment.
- Our prices are based on current market rates, seasonal variations, and availability, and are subject to change without prior notice. Rates are only confirmed once full payment or a deposit has been received.
- Package rates generally include accommodation, transportation, guided tours, and meals, as outlined in your detailed itinerary. Please refer to your specific booking for a full list of inclusions and exclusions.
- Holiday Season Supplement: A 25% holiday surcharge applies to all Nile Cruise and tour package bookings during Christmas, New Year, and Easter periods.
- Domestic Flights: The price we quote is an average and the timing is approximate. Changes to your flight may result in changes to the price.
Start your dream tour by paying as low as 30% of the total cost. During festive periods like New Year, Christmas and Easter, we require a 50% down payment. Feel free to pay the rest two days before your arrival or in cash when you arrive – we’ve got you covered!
- If you’re paying by credit card, we need a signed letter from you. This letter gives us permission to charge your card. Make sure the signature matches the one on your card and passport.
- Upon receiving your payment, we’ll issue a written confirmation, along with your itinerary and travel documents.
In case you cancel your trip, the following charges will be applied:
- From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 15% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- 35% of the tour price if you cancel 60-31 days before arrival.
- 50% of the tour price if you cancel 30-15 days before arrival.
- 100% of the tour price if you cancel 14-1 days before arrival.
Christmas, New Year, and Easter:
- From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 30% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- 50% of the tour price if you cancel 60-31 days before arrival.
- 75% of the tour price if you cancel 30-15 days before arrival.
Additionally, airlines charge their fees which are subject to the airlines’ terms and conditions, and there’s also a 5% bank fee on refunds. If you don’t show up for your reservation, we won’t be able to give you a refund.
EgyVacations welcomes families with children and offers the following pricing structure:
- Under 2 years: Free of charge
- 2 to 5 years: 25% of adult rate
- 6 to 11 years: 50% of adult rate
- 12 years and above: Full adult rate
Children’s discounts apply when sharing a room with two paying adults. Please note that some cruises or hotels may have their own child policies, which will be specified in your itinerary.
Tipping is customary in Egypt and greatly appreciated by service staff. Though not mandatory, the following guidelines are suggested:
- Tour Guide: $10–15 per day (per group)
- Driver: $5–10 per day (per group)
- Nile Cruise Staff: $5–10 per person per night (shared among crew)
