Send an enquiry — through the tailor-made form, any tour page, WhatsApp or email. A consultant writes a day-by-day itinerary and a full quote, usually within a few hours, and keeps adjusting it until it fits. Nothing is charged until you approve the final version. A deposit, as low as 30% of the total cost, then confirms the booking, and you will receive a confirmation email with all the necessary details.
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. You can also pay through a secure payment link, PayPal, or in cash to our staff at the airport — and for smaller excursions, on the day itself. Online card payments are taken by Visa and MasterCard in AED, USD, EUR and GBP, and your card details go directly to our payment provider via a secure connection. The full detail is on the payment and booking page.
Each tour includes different services, such as transportation, accommodation, meals, and entry fees to attractions. For a detailed list of inclusions, please refer to the specific tour page.
Domestic flights are included where the itinerary says so — for example Cairo to Luxor and Aswan back to Cairo on our eight-day package, along with the airport transfers at each end. International flights are not included by default, but we can quote them from your home country on request and book them with the rest of the trip.
Once your booking is confirmed, we will send all your travel documents, including itineraries, vouchers, and any other necessary information, to your email. Make sure to print or have digital copies accessible during your trip.
Mid-October to April is the most comfortable time to visit Egypt: warm, sunny days that suit the temples, the pyramids and a Nile cruise. It is also the busiest season, so book 2–3 months ahead; Christmas and New Year fill first. May to September is hot, especially in Luxor and Aswan, but there are fewer visitors and lower prices.
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. Most travelers visiting Egypt will need a tourist visa: the standard visa costs $36 USD and is valid for 30 days. You can get it upon arrival at major international airports or apply in advance through Egypt’s official e-Visa portal — applying online saves time at the airport. Nationals of some countries may have specific entry rules, so check before your trip, or contact us for assistance.
Light, breathable clothing in linen or cotton. One long-sleeved layer and a scarf for temples and mosques, where covered shoulders and knees are expected. High-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and closed shoes with grip — temple floors are uneven and the Giza plateau is sand and loose stone. A refillable bottle, a power bank and small notes in Egyptian pounds for tips. A light fleece is worth having for December and January evenings in Luxor and Aswan.
It isn't legally required, and we'll still take your booking without it — but we strongly recommend it, and we'd say the same if you were travelling anywhere else. Make sure the policy covers medical treatment and repatriation, trip cancellation, and any activity you intend to do: diving, hot air ballooning and quad biking are commonly excluded from standard policies and all three are things our guests book.
Our tours are typically offered in English, but we can provide guides who speak other languages upon request. Please let us know your language preference when booking — a guide in a specific language has to be reserved in advance, especially in peak season.
Yes, and the sooner you tell us the better we can do it. Many Egyptian sites are partly step-free — the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Sphinx viewpoint are fine — while others genuinely are not: inside a pyramid is a steep, low, unlit passage, and several tomb entrances involve stairs with no handrail. We will tell you honestly which parts of an itinerary will and won't work, arrange suitable vehicles and hotel rooms, and build the day around what you can enjoy rather than promising everything and apologising later.
Tipping — baksheesh — is customary in Egypt and greatly appreciated, though not mandatory, and unless otherwise mentioned tips are not included in your tour price. Our suggested guidelines: around $10–15 per day for your guide and $3–5 per day per person for drivers; on a Dahabiya cruise, $10–15 per person per day is standard, shared among the crew. Bring small notes; your guide will tell you what is normal at each stop if you ask.
Egypt continues to be a safe and welcoming destination, especially in popular areas like Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and Sharm El-Sheikh. These tourist hubs are well-secured and regularly patrolled by tourism police. Some regions, like Northern Sinai and remote parts of the western desert, remain restricted due to safety concerns. We closely monitor all developments and tailor your itinerary to avoid any areas under advisory.
You can reach us 24/7 on WhatsApp or by phone at +1 515 375 1881 or +20 100 531 1101, or by email at sales@egyvacations.com. If something goes wrong while you are on tour, tell us immediately — most problems can be solved quickly.
Yes, we offer customizable itineraries for most of our tours. Swap a temple for a free morning, add Abu Simbel, extend to the Red Sea, upgrade the cruiser or change the hotel tier, and we re-quote. If you’d rather start from scratch, the tailor-made form takes about two minutes.
Yes, you can make changes to your booking. However, modifications may be subject to availability and additional charges. Please contact our support team as soon as possible to discuss any changes. Changes to flights follow the airline’s own terms and conditions.
Charges are based on how much notice you give: 15% at 61 days or more, 35% at 60–31 days, 50% at 30–15 days, and 100% inside 14 days. Christmas, New Year and Easter carry higher rates. Airline fees follow the airline's own terms and a 5% bank fee applies to refunds. If a government or airline issues a do-not-travel warning for your destination, our force majeure policy applies instead and the amount is refunded or held as a travel credit — the full wording is in our terms and conditions.
Try a single word — visa, tipping, children, insurance — or just ask us directly.
Ask on WhatsAppWe are not a marketplace reselling someone else's tours. The consultant who plans your itinerary is the same person who answers when you message from Luxor at midnight — and the guides, drivers and vehicles are our own.

We trusted EgyVacations for our trip to Egypt… They made our trip anxiety free, they solve every problem from our arrival to the airport till our departure.
They helped me plan my day and arranged for an Egyptologist and driver to take me to all these places.
Thanks to well organised sightseeing and tour guide Ahmed who was professional and pleasant.
